Bicheno - Australia’s best town

Bicheno, on Tassie’s East Coast has recently been named Australia’s number one best town to visit topping the coveted Australian Traveller’s '100 Best Towns in Australia to Travel To' list.

Located 2 hours from Launceston, and 2.5 hours from Hobart, Bicheno offers visitors a variety of attractions. Have a seafood lunch at the popular Lobster Shack, then try a selection at Waubs Harbour Distillery. Take a guided tour to see fairy penguins returning to shore nightly, visit the local wildlife park for Tasmanian devils, or spot seals at Alligator Rock. Closely located to Freycinet National Park and Douglas-Apsley National Park.
